Today I lead the Platform team — spanning DevOps and Data Engineering — at a multi-region live-commerce streaming platform, building the infrastructure, data, security, and compliance foundation. Before that I designed and operated a multi-cluster EKS platform for 100+ services.

The flagship series, [Build Your Own Datacenter], builds a datacenter from the ground up — starting with bare metal and virtualization, then implementing an AWS-compatible cloud (mincloud) on top of it. Instead of reaching for a finished product, I peel back one layer at a time to understand what actually happens inside.
Alongside it, I write about what I’ve learned in production — multi-cluster Kubernetes, observability pipelines, cloud cost optimization, and security & compliance work like SOC 2.
